Public Notice is given that Mark Herford, Sheriff of Beauregard Parish will hold a public hearing and a public meeting on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Office of the Sheriff, Beauregard Parish Courthouse Annex, 120 South Stewart Street, DeRidder, Louisiana.  The following is the agenda:

  1. Approve the minutes from the last meeting on May 9, 2024.
  2. Inspect and adopt the Amended Budgets for the 2023-2024 fiscal year of the Sheriff's General Fund and Sales Tax Fund.
  3. Inspect and adopt the Proposed Budgets for the 2024-2025 fiscal year of the Sheriff's General Fund and Sales Tax Fund.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special meeting of the Law Enforcement District of the Parish of Beauregard, State of Louisiana, has been ordered and called and will be held at its regular meeting place, the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office, 120 S. Stewart Street, DeRidder, Louisiana, on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at ten (10:00) o'clock a.m., for the following purposes, to-wit:

1. To consider and take action with respect to adopting a resolution providing for canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the special election held in the Law Enforcement District of the Parish of Beauregard, State of Louisiana, on Saturday, April 27, 2024, to authorize the renewal of a sales and use tax therein.

2. To consider and transact any and all other business which may be properly brought before the Sheriff of the Parish of Beauregard, as the ex-officio Chief Executive Officer of the Law Enforcement District.

To consider and take action with respect to adopting a resolution ordering and calling a special election to be held in the Law Enforcement District of the Parish of Beauregard, State of Louisiana, to authorize the renewal of a sales and use tax therein, making application to the State Bond Commission and providing for other matters in connection therewith.

The Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office is accepting bids for one truck meeting the specifications below:

2017 or newer Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4x2 Crew Cab LT or its equivalent

Color-Silver

 

The successful bidder must be able to deliver vehicle within 48 hours. 

Bids will be opened on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office, Civil Office, which is located at 120 South Stewart Street, DeRidder, LA  70634.

All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Sealed Bid for Truck" and delivered to the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office, Civil Office, located at 120 S. Stewart Street, DeRidder, LA  70634 or mailed to PO Box 370, DeRidder, LA  70634, in time for the bid opening. Bids may also be submitted online at www.CentralBidding.com.

Ricky L. Moses, Sheriff, will hold a public meeting for the purpose of adopting the millage rates for the year 2017 for the Beauregard Parish Law Enforcement District.

The meeting will be held at the Office of the Sheriff, Beauregard Parish Courthouse Annex, 120 South Stewart Street, DeRidder, Louisiana at 10:00 o’clock AM Tuesday, June 20, 2017.

In accordance with LRS 39:1305 -1307, public notice is given that Ricky L. Moses, Sheriff, will hold a public hearing and meeting for the purpose of inspection and adoption of the Amended Budgets for the 2016-2017 fiscal year and the Proposed Budgets for the 2017-2018 fiscal year of the Sheriff’s General Fund and Sales Tax Fund, Beauregard Parish Law Enforcement District.

The hearing and meeting will be held at the Office of the Sheriff, Beauregard Parish Courthouse Annex, 120 South Stewart Street, DeRidder, Louisiana at 10:00 o’clock A.M. Tuesday, June 13, 2017, for the purpose of inspecting and adopting said budgets.
